Using NHS IMAS

1.    How much does it cost to use NHS IMAS?

NHS IMAS does not charge NHS organisations commission to use our services. The client organisation covers the costs of the pool member whilst they undertake the assignment.

2.    Are pool members contracted through NHS IMAS?

Contracts or secondment agreements are held between the pool member's hosting organisation and the client organisation.

3.    How do I commission an assignment?

To commission an assignment please contact the NHS IMAS core team and they will help you develop your scope and search for suitable candidates from our pools. A Programme Manager will liaise with you throughout the process to make sure we understand your requirements.

4.    How is an assignment managed?

An NHS IMAS Programme Manager and Partner are allocated to the assignment. The Programme Manager will work with the client to confirm the assignment objectives, issue the agreement letters and liaise with both the pool member and the client to make sure the assignment is delivered to scope, budget and timescales.

Where appropriate, the Partner will support the pool member whilst on assignment offering advice and support, and liaise with the client. At the end of the assignment the NHS IMAS Managing Partner will hold a closure call with the client to make sure the objectives have been delivered and to evaluate the assignment based on the initial scope.
